Man! I really enjoy your music, so I hate to hear that you all are splitting up. I know change is good, but why change a good thing. "I know" 13 years together is a long time, but I have only known about Sista Blues and have seen several of your gigs in the past 3 to 4 years. I just discovered your music. "Which I love very much!"
Oh well, I did purchase all of your CD's, so although I will not be seeing you all performing together live, I still have your music.

saw you sistahs for the 1st time in Scottsdale on April 6 just by chance checking the bulletin board by the triple horse statue. Had been there before and never knew what was down that sidewalk. So glad we were able to hear your soul music for over an hour! Wanted to buy a CD but had to leave before you were done. Sorry to hear that you're splitsville. I just sent an email to Nancy, telling her how excited I was that my job is sending me to Tucson in June and that I would be sure to catch a gig with the Sistahs in Phoenix while I was in Arizona. And then I saw the news on your website. The only words that come to mind are "shocked, stunned and "saddened." Like many of your other fans, I can't believe the band is splitting up, especially since you have brought so much joy to many, many people and your potential for even greater success is unlimited. It's been nearly eight years since the Ruidoso rainstorms cut your show short and another few years since the Silver City drenching that forced the cancellation of your show. And even though my wife and I have not had the good fortune to see you as many times as many of your other fans, each concert we saw (that was not rained out) was cherished. So thank you for the music. For the Sistahs who will move on to other bands, I hope to check out your new "families" when I'm in Arizona again.

I first heard you and saw you play at the Glendale Blues fesitval many years ago. I then followed you to the Rhythm Room and Ain't Nobody's Business. WOW, no more Sistah Blue after 4/22/08. This will be a sad day for Blues lovers in AZ. My first date with my wife 13 year ago was at your show, we are still together and very happy. But change is a necessary evil we must take to continue to grow. We will miss The Sistahs and wish you the best and success in whatever you choose to do in the future. I hope to see one or two of you performing around valley; I will be looking for you.

I have a complaint about the four-song CD I ordered.
It is so damn good that I haven't yet found time to listen to the "live" CD! That's my "complaint." Any suggestions, anyone? :)
Sistahs, you have really outdone yourselves and it makes me want to jump in my truck and camp out in front of the Rhythm Room or any other venue where you'll be performing. And yes, one of these days, I *will* get around to listening to the live CD, but I gotta tell ya - there's not a bad song on the 4-song CD. You sistahs rock my world! :)

It's hard to believe it's been nearly 8 years since I announced you in a rainfest in Ruidoso, NM. And then when you travelled to Silver City, NM, a few years ago, it was *another* rainfest! Nevertheless, like some of your other fans, I'm also curious as to where I can order some of your CDs - "Movin' On" and the live one. That would complete my collection and it would make my day!

The last time you played the Rhythem Room You Gave me an F blues harp. Since then I have learned how to play it. Not as good as you can but good enough to write and record an arraingement of "What I Say" by Ray Charles, bless his soul, and along with some other arraingments of various Blues tunes I think Your Group would enjoy. I will see you on the fifteenth of Dec. to give you the CD in Person. You are a monster on the Harmonica. I have never seen or heard a performer put so much passion in that little harp like you do. I wish you well and Happy Hollidays as well as the rest of Sistah Blue. Say Hello to Lila and the Base man too. If Ya Need a knee to sit on I'll be there.

I also discovered you at the Desert Botanical Gardens concert...followed you to the RR and now drag others out with me. At first they are reluctant but once I get them there you do the rest and now they are hooked too! I guess they just have a different concept of blues...and you give them your all every time.

My husband and I happened to drive up to Phoenix on a whim to go check out The Rhythm Room on Friday, July 27. We didn't know who was playing that night, until we walked in the door. We listened to your music...WOW! You were fabulous! Needless to say, we danced our butts off that night!
Rochelle, thanks for letting me play the tamborine for Chain of Fools, it was an honor. (P.S. I hope I have good rhythm, I've been playing drums and percussion since I was 14 yrs old).

It's been seven long years (too long) since we first met you at a rain-soaked concert in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Having the honor and privilege of introducing your band that evening is something I will never forget.
I was all set to visit Tucson and Phoenix in the early part of next week and then Albuquerque and Santa Fe on Thursday and Friday. My friends were notified, everything else was arranged, and I was all set to go.
Until, that is, I saw your website announcing a Rhythm Room performance on July 27th! So now, thanks to you, I'm happily scrapping my original plans and making sure I will be in Phoenix on Friday. (You know where I'll be Friday night!)
This time, Nellie's not going. So let's see what kind of trouble a married man traveling alone can get into! ;)

WOW!! I said I was going to check you guys out live at The Rhythm room & I did. Boy am I glad I did. Gotta catch the rest of your shows around the area (Tempe, Glendale Scottsdale) over the next couple weeks. As you can tell I probably missed the best part of your show tonight at The Rhythm Room because I had to leave early. Somehow I got my wires crossed & thought you started at 8pm, so I could only stay till 11pm ddue to another commitment, but what I heard, wow!!! I also met some of your followers, and am interested in helping to bring Opra out for .... ahhh, Ms Fairfax's??? opening ceremonies of the new high school in her name.
Also meet "Debra" who was visiting from out of state & is thinking of resettling here. You also gave her a holler from stage. She's was very nice...(and good looking!)
You guys keep going, you've gained another permanent follower. I wish I could have picked up one of your CDs...maybe at the next party, Glendale??? Really great stuff, I truly mean it!

Damn Damn Damn. I was in Phx on march 2-4 I knew that you usually play The Room on the 1st weenend of the month. I checked the newtimes when I got there and it didn't say where you were.
